How we scored them
Most “best matched betting sites” lists are a ranking of affiliate payouts wearing a review’s clothes. To keep ourselves honest we scored every service on the same seven criteria, out of ten, and we show the scores so you can weight them differently if your priorities are not ours. Price is the annual cost of the entry tier; offers is the number and value of welcome offers covered; tools is the breadth and quality of the oddsmatcher and matchers; support is speed and quality of help; community is size and activity; reviews is the Trustpilot picture, adjusted for how recent and numerous the reviews are; and independence is how much the service’s own incentives line up with yours.

1. Outplayed: best for beginners and for scaling up
Formerly Profit Accumulator, Outplayed is the largest UK service and the one most people start with. The entry Platinum tier is £249.99 a year, with a 7-day free trial and a 14-day money-back guarantee. You get a live oddsmatcher across 80-plus bookmakers, a walkthrough video for every one of 50-plus welcome offers, and seven-day support with live chat. Diamond (£349.99) adds 140-plus casino offers and the Price Boost Tracker; Pro (£995) adds 2UP and extra-place tools for people treating this as a serious side income.
The strengths are support and community: on Trustpilot it holds 4.4 from more than 2,650 reviews, and the one-star reviews are almost all about the trial converting to a paid plan rather than about the product. The weaknesses are that monthly pricing is not published, the Pro tier is excluded from the refund, and the price has crept up over the years. If you are organised about the trial window, it is the fastest way from zero to your first few hundred pounds.
2. OddsMonkey: best for monthly flexibility and racing
OddsMonkey has been Outplayed’s rival since 2011 and, since December 2024, its sibling under the same owner. Prices now mirror Outplayed’s annual ladder (£249.99, £349.99, £999) but OddsMonkey also publishes monthly plans on every tier, starting at £39.99, which makes it the sensible pick if you want to test reload offers for a couple of months without committing to a year.
Its toolkit is the deepest in the market: an Each Way Matcher, Dutch Matcher and Racing Matcher on lower tiers, price boost and best-odds-guaranteed matchers, and a calculator library covering everything from Lucky 15s to blackjack. Trustpilot is weaker at 3.5 from around 960 reviews, with recent complaints about site speed, cancelling and the mobile layout. 3. Team Profit: best free service
Team Profit is free, and it is good. Its video guides are among the clearest introductions to matched betting anywhere, its Facebook group has more than 30,000 members, and its Trustpilot score of 4.9 is the highest of any service. It covers 25-plus welcome offer guides with a basic oddsmatcher and calculator, and makes money through exchange referral links and its paid Team Casino product at £14.99 a month.
The caveats are real. There are no reload matchers or advanced tools, fewer offers are covered than on the paid services, and activity appears to have slowed: almost no new Trustpilot reviews in the last year. 4. Profit Maximiser: best for casino offers on a budget
Mike Cruickshank’s Profit Maximiser has been around since 2009 and remains the cheapest full paid service at £12 a month or £99 a year, with a 7-day free trial. It leans towards casino and bonus offers, with 50-plus bookmaker and 50-plus casino sign-up offers, and tools such as the Accumulator Generator and EV Maximiser. Each-way and dutching tools sit behind the Betting Mastermind upsell at £150 a month or £450 for the first year.
Judge it with open eyes. The interface is dated, the Trustpilot profile has just two reviews, and the top-ranking “review” of it online is on the owner’s own website. It suits an intermediate who knows what they are doing and wants casino coverage without paying Outplayed’s Diamond price.
5. BetBoffins: best for unbiased reading
BetBoffins is a free, independent site built by a single developer with no affiliate links and no email capture. It offers a calculator, a profit tracker, an odds converter and 37 offer walkthroughs with expected profit figures, and its explanations are well written and current. What it does not have is a live oddsmatcher, which means it cannot be your whole workflow. Use it to sanity-check what the paid services tell you.
Services we no longer recommend
Profit Squad ran a respected membership from 2015 and merged with MatchedBets.com in 2018. Its domain is now a casino review site with no membership on offer, yet it still appears in several 2026 “best of” lists. MatchedBets.com still exists but routes new sign-ups to Outplayed rather than selling its own subscription, so it is effectively a front door for Outplayed. Bonus Bagging is a £27 email-driven beginner product from the Profit Maximiser stable that has been superseded by everything above.
How to choose
If you have never placed a matched bet, do two or three welcome offers with Team Profit and our free calculator. If that goes well and you want to clear the remaining welcome offers quickly, take Outplayed’s trial and set a reminder to cancel or continue on day five. If, after the welcome offers, you find yourself doing reload offers most weeks, you have earned the right to a paid subscription and should pick between Outplayed and OddsMonkey on billing preference and tool needs rather than on marketing. And if at any point you are betting money you cannot afford to lose, or betting without laying, stop: that is gambling, and none of these services will save you from it.
